Good Shepherd Foundation Colombia-Venezuela supports women victims of violence

Since 2020, the Foundation’s programmes have proposed violence-free ways
of achieving more just and dignified forms of autonomy and living conditions

Believing in oneself is the first way out of conditions of oppression, lawlessness, loneliness and inequality.

“In November 2021, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and in response to the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, the Good Shepherd Foundation of the Colombia-Venezuela Unit organised the competition “The secret is to believe in yourself: if you can fight for your rights, you can achieve much more”.  The aim of this competition was to send a message on the prevention of violence against women, based on the testimonies of participants in the programme who recounted their perception of violence in a creative way”.

Among the activities carried out we find particularly interesting those on the prevention of violence, such as the Seminars proposed in November 2021:

– Roots of violence against women
– Learning to flourish where you are
