World Refugee Day (UNHCR)

The most excluded people in the world

Conflict and persecution have forced more than 80 million people around the world to flee their homes.
On World Refugee Day, we call for their full inclusion in every area of society, from work to study to health.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we realized that only if everyone does their part can we create a safer world for all.

Together we can do anything?

As a civil society we support people forced to flee from their homes who struggle to rebuild their future in dignity and we accompany the territorial communities called to become more hospitable: we are all embarked on the struggles of reception and integration.
This day puts us in front of a paradox: 70 years ago the States signed the Geneva Convention for the recognition of the right to asylum, today the same signatories are committed to expel, exclude and finance refugee camps, similar to lagers, where, with the suspension of rights, even life remains suspended.
