The call for a referendum to reform the criteria for access to Italian citizenship comes from the new generations of Italians, children of an increasingly multicultural country.

“The initiative, promoted by associations such as CoNNGI (Coordinamento Nazionale Nuove Generazioni Italiane) and the movement Italiani senza cittadinanza, aims to collect 500,000 signatures by 30 September, with an appeal to all civil society and political forces to support this important battle.
