2014-2024: Celebrating ten years of reuniting the paths traced by the Founders

Today we rejoice at St John Eudes and St Mary Euphrasia together with our Blesseds Mary Thérèse of Soubiran, Mary Droste and Aguchita for the path travelled even after the long Journey of enrichment culminating in 2014 with the reunification of two stories with a root such as: “the passionate love of John Eudes for Jesus and Mary”(www.olcgs.org), on which Mary Euphrasia’saudacity had grafted her organisational talent through the invention of the Generalate.

We welcome the invitation of the Congregational Leadership Team to retrace the profound reasons for the reunification and to make them seeds, together with the partners, of a spiritual and apostolic future characterised by the passion for justice and reconciliation also in our Southern Region born from the unification of the Italy-Malta, Portugal and Spain Units:

“Ten years ago, on 27 June 2014, our two courageous congregations came together sharing a common mission and vision. This reunification represented not only an organisational change, but a profound spiritual and communitarian renewal, symbolising our collective commitment to live the Gospel values of love, compassion and service with ever greater unity and determination.”
