Holy Christmas
May gratitude and wonder at the coming of the Lord be renewed in us
“Of all the marvellous things that can be said of Christ, there is one that absolutely exceeds the admiration of which mankind is capable, and the frailty of our mortal intelligence does not know how to comprehend and imagine it: that the omnipotence of the divine majesty, the very Word of the Father, the Wisdom of God, in which all things are created – the visible and the invisible – allowed itself to be enclosed within the limits of a man who appeared in Judea.”
