GREST girls and boys from the parish of Santa Cristina visiting the ‘Labyrinth of Biodiversity’ at Domus Nostra

On Wednesday 13 July 2023, Sr Teresa, Director of Apostolic Services, opened the doors of the Domus Nostra for an extraordinary moment in which Integral Ecology and the Culture of Encounter enabled the girls and boys of the GREST group, the sisters, the educators and the women and children to have an exciting experience to which they all hope to continue.

The diversity in nature and among people interested, intrigued and amazed!

Alessandro Faggian, a naturalist who has been taking care of the greenery surrounding Domus Nostra for years, told how the Common Good Meadow was created, where we can witness the miracle of protected biodiversity: it took 15 years of care, work and passion!

The Labyrinth of Biodiversity is a more recent invention that is renewed with each visit and offers different routes.

For the girls and boys, it was really nice to ‘get lost’ in the biodiversity!

The visit ended with a rich snack in the Domus children’s playground and the sharing of emotions aroused by the ‘impact’ with the beauty of biodiversity and the joy of meeting each other!
