From today a ‘new beginning’ for the Southern Europe Region

The Southern Europe Regional Leadership Team has been elected!

Regional Leader Sister Maria de Fatima Pires and Councillors Sister Rosario Oliveira, (Portugal), Sister Maria Rosa Corral (Spain), Sister Angela Ricci (Italy-Malta) and Sister Doris Saliba (Italy-Malta) have taken on the responsibility of accompanying the implementation of the new governance structure designed to foster the commitment of sisters and lay people in the realisation of the Calls to Action delivered to us by the 31st Congregational Chapter.

The new regional leadership team, sisters and lay people present at the Chapter attended Pope Francis’ general audience this morning to receive a special blessing in support of the journey the new Region is called to undertake.
