Pope Francis on a visit to Malta blesses women and children sheltered in Merhba Bik

Pope Francis’ trip to Malta at the beginning of April was marked by welcome and hospitality. The Holy Father was greeted with joy by the whole island and was able to offer a warm welcome.

The gesture he reserved for our reality in Merhba Bik moved the sisters, the laity, the volunteers and all the people welcomed into the various services for women and children involved in situations of gender and domestic violence.
