The Good Shepherd Community Training Centre in Madidi, South Africa, is a model for all.
It is attended by "girls" of various generations, from 16 to 85 years old, who wish to increase their skills and improve their socio-occupational integration: many ways of resilience suitable for all ages in which to enhance talents and realise dreams, in justice and dignity.
“The Centre offers accredited courses in sewing and knitting, beading, hairdressing, computers, catering and cooking, administration, electronics, welding and plumbing. There is also a clinic with counselling services for victims of abuse, drug and alcohol addiction, especially for the large number of teenage girls who become pregnant. To meet the needs of children in local communities, the Lesang Catholic Nursery School provides primary care and education for children aged 18 months to 6 years.”
It is the Province of South Africa: here are some nice pictures of sisters and partners involved in the Mission
